If there’s one thing Gold Coast business know how to do, it’s how to come together, pool resources and organise events that wow, especially when the proceeds go towards a charity as special as Baby Give Back.

General Manager of Events Fantastic Australia, Caroline Hutchinson engaged the services of our team here at Boost Social to help organise a very special event dear to her heart. At Boost Social, we’re big on giving back to the local community, so it didn’t take much convincing for us to leap to the task at hand.

Our mission was to help organise a first birthday party for Caroline’s beautiful daughter, Willow. Instead bringing presents for the birthday girl, guests were asked to donate to Gold Coast charity, Baby Give Back, a not-for-profit organisation who believe every baby deserves to start out on an equal footing.

The call was put out to business owners across the Gold Coast and Brisbane willing to donate their time and services for a Fairy-inspired garden party. The response was overwhelming. The date was set for June 16, and the venue chosen was Platell Park in Broadbeach.

On the day the overcast skies held off from raining allowing the garden to be transformed into a fairy wonderland. Everything from the gorgeous cake by Bumbleberry Bake to the stunning photography by Visual Reality were kindly donated for a first birthday memories, Willow’s parents will treasure forever.

Guests had a wonderful time with garden games, hair braiding and face painting. A mythical woodland creature played the flute, while party backdrops and Willow’s name in lights made for a stunning scene.

“It was heart-warming to see all the talent we have on the Gold Coast come together for a very worthy cause,” said Elisha Graeff, managing director of Boost Social.
